All Rentals are Saturday to Saturday, which gives you time to explore each region and enjoy the authentic Italian lifestyle.
We specialize in rural and town accommodation e.g. in regions such as Tuscany, Umbria,
Le Marche and Abruzzo (not the big cities like Rome or Milan where we don't have listings
and shorter stays in hotels tend to be the norm). Cities can however be easily explored
by car or local public transport from most villas. Most country properties do need
a rental car, most town apartments do not - contact us in the first instance for guidance
if you will not have a car.

The Cottages to Castles website is highly rated (e.g. The Guardian Newspaper in UK 2004)
and is regularly updated so has more choices than the brochure - new properties are
frequently being added. It has excellent search functions - enter your group size,
region and Saturday date and all the available choices can be seen immediately. For

assistance with selection, availability, prices and to make reservations - don't forget
we have personally visited nearly every property (and there's no booking fee).
Once the best choice for you is found we can place it on option (no obligation) for
up to 5 days to enable you to complete the rest of your itinerary. If you prefer to
book on line we strongly recommend you contact us beforehand to ensure your choices
are suitable - every villa is unique, the deposit is non refundable and there's no
5 day option.
Start planning as early as you can, booking 6-12+ months ahead is normal practice
to get the widest range of choices - if you are traveling soon we can however usually
find very good choices at short notice. Advanced bookings for 2006 are being arranged
by us now using a refundable advanced deposit - just contact us for assistance and
property availability.
Our 273 page color brochure shows the web pages in the print form, is a great resource
if you are in the planning stages of your trip - and it's free! Before ordering have
a look at the range and prices on the website to see the types of properties we offer
and how they suit your plans - don't forget all rentals are Saturday - Saturday -
then just go to the brochure tab and enter your details. It is important to tell us
where you found out about us - we monitor our advertising and referrals - which is
our largest source of new clients.
Visa and MasterCard are welcome - 30% deposit (non refundable) on booking, full payment
8 weeks before arrival.
